To access the additional features of Task Manager, click the down arrow button next to “More Details. Copy the path of each app shortcut that is already in the start up folder and paste them in the batch job in the order you want them to launch. If it’s the first time you’ve ever opened Task Manager, it automatically opens in compact mode-listing only what programs are running. Or, for apps under 'C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Startup', create a batch job in that folder. Perhaps the easiest is to right-click any open space on the taskbar, and then select “Task Manager” from the context menu. To remove programs from the startup control panel, go to Settings > Apps > Startup. There are several ways of accessing the Task Manager. In the Windows Task Manager, go to the Startup tab, choose an app, and select Disable. In Windows Vista and 7, you had to dig into tools like Msconfig-which is powerful if a little clunky to use. Windows 8 and 10 include an interface for managing startup apps in a location that makes more sense: Task Manager. Windows has long provided tools for managing startup apps.
